Investigators Name DC Men Killed in District Heights Double Shooting
On December 6, at approximately 9:25 p.m., officers responded to a shooting incident in the 6200 block of Surrey Square Lane. Upon arrival, they found two men, 24-year-old Vernon Bond III and 28-year-old Jonathan Jamal Williams, both from Washington, DC, suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot.
Both victims were pronounced dead shortly after police arrived on the scene.
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s investigation revealed that Bond and Williams, who were known to each other, had exchanged gunfire during an altercation, leading to their deaths.
