Get $2,000 Toward a New E-Bike with California’s New Incentive Program
Starting December 18, California residents will have the opportunity to receive up to $2,000 toward the purchase of a new electric bike (e-bike) through the state’s newly launched California E-bike Incentive Project. The program is designed to make zero-emissions transportation more accessible to income-eligible individuals.
With funding from a $3 million allocation, the initiative aims to assist up to 1,500 people in purchasing e-bikes, which are ideal for longer trips and reducing dependence on cars. The project will be supported by over 20 community organizations, which will help with outreach and assist applicants throughout the process.
This program is part of California’s broader efforts to lower transportation costs, reduce pollution, and prioritize equity while working toward the state’s zero-emissions goals.
