Man Shot and Killed During Rush Hour in Southeast DC
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Southeast D.C. on Thursday evening.
At approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2700 block of Wade Street SE. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had been shot. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
