Police Seize 264 Grams of Cocaine, Heroin, and Loaded Pistol in VW Van Stop
A routine traffic stop Thursday evening in Frederick County led to the discovery of drugs, weapons, and drug paraphernalia, resulting in six arrests.
Frederick County Sheriff’s Office deputies pulled over a Volkswagen Routan near I-70 West and Monocacy Boulevard around 9:15 p.m. for moving and equipment violations.
During the stop, deputies noticed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle, prompting a search of the van and its six occupants.
The search uncovered a loaded .45 caliber pistol, approximately 264 grams of suspected cocaine, 100 grams of suspected heroin, and additional drug paraphernalia.
All six individuals in the vehicle were taken into custody. Authorities have not yet released their names or additional details about the arrests. The case remains under investigation.
